The call for abstract is closed since 8 December.
The authors will be contacted again in mid-February 2025.
The heart of the conference is your expertise, perspectives and experiences
By participating in the 5th I.S.Rivers, you will contribute not only to the conference, but also to the evolution of knowledge and practices towards a better sustainable and integrated river management. It is, indeed, around your research, action and case studies that the conference is built.
An opportunity to enhance your work
A diversity of possible presentation formats will enable you to present in a way that suits the nature of your project. Extended abstracts (2-3 p.) will be included in the conference proceedings and on the I.S.Rivers website. Scientists will also have the opportunity to submit their contribution to a recognised international journal.
The opportunity to discuss and meet professionals in river research and management
I.S.Rivers encourages collaborations between scientists and managers on a European and international scale with the aim of supporting decision-making and improving management practices. By welcoming scientists, managers of large rivers and local residents, and by implementing simultaneous French-English translation in all sessions and during technical visits, I.S. Rivers promotes knowledge transfers and exchanges between stakeholders.
